We want to extend our reach to more girls, continue to develop the curriculum, create a parenting course and

group of friends, or with your favorite organization:

Become a Friend of Smart-Girl

Friends of Smart-Girl provide the financial and/or volunteer support for all of our programs and projects, and act as our advocates in the community to help further our mission.

As a Friend of Smart-Girl, you will receive a special invitation to our annual membership event, Authors & Advocates . The purpose of this yearly gathering is to renew our commitment to Smart-Girl while socializing with old friends and meeting new ones. Each year we will feature a local author to enlighten our members with a spirited talk on pertinent topics. Also, you receive our newsletter, email updates on our activities, invitations to our events, and “early bird” notification of registration for our Summer Program. Donate now!

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Planning our fundraising events
  Authors & Advocates annual membership event in February, Good Guyz & Smart Girls Roundup in June and or annual luncheon in October.
  
  
• Planning and funding a session, outing or event for the girls
  Let us benefit from your expertise, skills or hobbies. Talk to one of the groups about your career, take the girls on a hike, or teach them your hobby, favorite sport or game.
  
  
• Organizing a fundraiser
  Invite your friends over for a lunch or coffee, have a white elephant sale, a progressive dinner, a fashion show, or any other fun activity to raise money for Smart-Girl.
  
  
• Helping with administrative activities
  We need people of all ages to help create and distribute materials, organize our office, and write proposals.
  
  

Fund a Smart-Girl Participant or Train a Guide
The Becky Orr Scholarship Fund ensures no girl or young woman is ever turned away for lack of funds. Donate $250 and you can train a guide or fund a participant. Donate Now!

Sponsor a Smart-Girl Group
A donation of $5,000 will cover the cost of one Smart-Girl group of 15 girls in the school or community of your choice. You or your organization may also want to provide adult volunteers to coach the group and supervise the guides. Donate Now!

Become a Sustaining Sponsor
Join one of several sponsorship categories by making a generous contribution ranging from $1,000 to $25,000. Donate Now!

Leave a legacy
One of the simplest ways is to name Smart-Girl in your will.
