Smart-Girl has over 40 2 hour sessions for preteens and 15 2 hour sessions for teens between 14 and 18. Many of the smart-Girl sessions focus on developing emotional intelligence (Goleman, 1999). Session topics include: motivating ourselves, persisting against frustration, bullying and the bystander, delaying gratification, goal setting, being empathic and controlling our impulses.
